Bis zum Release von XIII sollten noch einige Videos dazu erscheinen. Kein Wunder, dass es nun neues Videomaterial zum Downloaden gibt. Auf der italienischen offiziellen XIII-Site findet ihr einen kleinen (455kb) .wmf-Clip mit dem Titel Just say NO to Drugs.

Wie XIII-TheGame.net berichtet, hat XIII den Gold-Master-Status erreicht und kann so pünktlich zum Release in den Ladenregalen stehen.
Das Spiel erscheint demnach am 20. November auf dem PC und eine Woche später, also am 27. für XBox, Gamecube und Playstation 2.

Auf Krawall.de findet ihr ein neues Review zu XIII, welches sehr sehr positiv ausfällt. Hier ein kleiner Auszug:quote:
Betrachtet man allein das Spielgeschehen, so wäre ?XIII" bereits ein sehr guter Shooter. Was das Spiel zu einer echten Perle macht, ist das ungemein stimmige Gesamtbild. Das fängt an bei der spannenden Geschichte, die durch viele perfekt geschnittene Zwischensequenzen erzählt wird. Jede Einzelne der kurzen, mit stimmungsvoller Musik unterlegten Cutscenes zeigt einfach, wie man dynamische Splitscreen-Einspieler baut. |

Zur Abwechslung gibts mal wieder ein Preview zum 3d-Shooter XIII, und zwar auf GamersHell.
Der Autor kommt zu folgendem Ergebnis:quote:

Obwohl XIII erst noch erscheinen muss, findet man auf Computer&VideoGames schon ein Review (höchstwahrscheinlich einer fast fertigen Version) zum Cel-Shader.quote:
The joy of XIII is that it continually surprises you with neat touches, and these little gimmicks are what keep you hooked. You can take someone hostage, for example, and the police will back off and hold their fire while you wave a pistol menacingly at the poor soul you've just nabbed. Meanwhile, you can knock out civilians and security guards with chairs, trays, bottles and a variety of other household items should you need a non-lethal approach to problem solving. |
Im Übrigen gibt es auch schon einen Test zu XIII in der aktuellen PCAction, wobei das Spiel dort tolle 86% absahnte.
