Computer And Video Games hat Epics Vizepräsident Marc Rein interviewt. Thema war u.a. XBoX360, PS3 und die Unreal Engine 3 bzw. 4.

Mark Rein: Not again! Oh my god what a mistake! It's just a research project, you know it's aimed at the next next generation, there's still one guy still working on it. The answer is 'yup Tim is still doing his research', he's still the only one on it. We don't see that being staffed up for a couple more years, there's nothing really there. It's not Unreal Engine 4, yet, but one day it will be! We're doing research that one day will be the cornerstone of Unreal Engine 4 |

Soeben erreichte mich eine Mail mit froher Kunde: Unsere alten Kollegen von UnrealEd.de und UnrealEd.info melden sich zurück!
Wer Maps sucht, selber Mapper ist oder werden will, findet dort alles was er braucht. Darüber hinaus wurde natürlich das alte Design ersetzt uvm.

Laut einer Meldung von Gamecloud soll das Actionspiel Stargate SG-1 nun entgültig vor dem AUS stehen. Der Plublisher JoWooD ist schon letztes Jahr abgesprungen und ein neuer konnte bisher wohl nicht gefunden werden.

Ausgehend von einem Gerücht, welche ein User der Site GameDreamZ.com ins Leben gerufen hat, wonach man voraussichtlich noch diesen Monat mit einer Demo zu Gears of War (per XBOX Live!) rechnen könne, hat CliffyB nun einiges klargestellt:

Wärend wir alle noch auf die ersten Unreal Engine 3 Games warten, bestätigte Epics Mark Rein die Arbeiten am Nachfolger der modernen Grafik-Engine.

Die Spieleschmiede Webzen hat ihren neuesten Titel auf Basis der Unreal Engine 3.0 bekanntgegeben. Der Name des MMORPG's lautet Endless Saga und das ist auch schon alles, was bisher bekannt ist. Auf der zugehörigen Homepage findet ihr ein Artwork und einen Screenshot, der laut den Entwicklern direkt aus der Unreal Engine 3.0 stammen soll, welcher, gelinde ausgedrückt, mehr als beeindruckend ist.
