UnrealEngine  Spellborn: Interview auf Ten Ton Hammer   Doomh 02.04.2007
text (short)
Cody ?Micajah? Bye von Ten Ton Hammer hatte die Gelegenheit ein Interview mit Marco van Haren, PR und Marketing - Manager für Spellborn, zu führen:

quote:
Micajah: Let?s talk about character creation, as it was one of the major design choices that separates you from other fantasy-based MMORPGs. You took a route that puts you more in line with a game like City of Heroes, where a character looks "cool" from the beginning. Do you think this will have an adverse effect on how long players remain with the game?

Marco: We didn't only want players to look "cool" from the start; we wanted them to look cool throughout the entire game. Cool in this case means that players can wear whatever they think looks cool. Of course there will still be tons of additional armour sets that can be found and created at higher levels. Besides looking cool, players will still want to upgrade their stats using sigil stones that can be found, crafted or earned through questing. The more powerful and rare sigils can only be found in high end locations and dungeons, so there will be more then enough armour related things for players to discover to keep that part of the gameplay interesting.
