Gamespot hat Brian Eddy zu Stranglehold inteviewt (ein John Woo inspiriertes Action Adventure):

Das Ende des Beta-Tests von Vanguard: Saga of Heroes naht, wer also gerne das Spiel noch vor seinem Start am 30. Januar testen mag, sollte sich beieilen. Laut den Gamestar vorliegenden Informationen, soll die Beta nur noch bis 23. Januar laufen

Aufgrund von RL Problemen gab es einen Wechsel des Coders, Slayers Choice macht aber gute Fortschritte in Sachen Neuprogrammierung des Mods. Als kleines Schmankerl gibt es noch ein kurzes Video...

eine neue Cup-Season. Das besondere an der neuen Season ist allerdings,
dass inUnreal eine kure Fun-Cup Season machen möchte, in der bei jedem
Cup ein eher alternativer Spielmodi gespielt wird, wie z.B. Freon,
Assault, Jailbreal usw.

Die HMMWV Texturierungsarbeiten sind zu 70% abgeschlossen, inkl. dem einen oder anderen modularen Zubehör...

Zu diesem Thema hat sich Mark Rein im Epicforum geäussert, nachdem ein neuer NVIDIA -Treiber anlass zu Spekulationen gegeben hat... Er bestätigt, das GoW sehr wohl auf dem PC "spielbar" ist, aber lest selbst:

We gave NVIDIA a copy of wargame.exe (along with some sample content from Gears) so they could help us tweak Unreal Engine 3 performance and reliability on NVIDIA graphics chips. That was necessary to make the development tools perform well and ensure that their drivers would support UE3 going forward. That was beneficial because two PC games (Roboblitz and Rainbow Six Vegas) have already shipped for PC and we're planning to ship our next Unreal Tournament game on PC this year as well. |
