UnrealEngine  Drawn To Be Alive   maverick 30.03.2007
text (short)
Nach einem Preview bei 1up wollen die Macher (französische Studenten) aus ihrem Unreal Tournament 2004 Mod "Drawn to be alive" nun ein eigenständiges Spiel machen:

quote:
What would you do if you discovered a magical ink that brings hand-drawn characters to life? If you're the mad scientist in the world of Drawn to Be Alive, you'd market the living hell out of it, selling drawn characters to the wealthy as pets, and raking in cash by the truckload.

But what if one of your experiments -- a child's stick-figure drawing -- escaped the lab and headed out to find his home world, the original drawing from which he arose? This is the premise of Drawn to Be Alive, a charming project from a group of game design students in France. Originally a mod for Unreal Tournament 2004, the project is now seeking funding for a commercial release.
