I just wanted to give you all an update on what's going on in terms of security. The first patch (which is coming soon) will address the speed hack, include a new version of UTSecure and address many other issues. As we get a little closer, I think Steve will release a change list.
On the cheating front, I finally pulled away from patch duty and spent the day going over the logs on the master server and proceeded to verify and ban a number of players. The unfortunate side is I'm tracking a number of multiple cdkeys for a given botter which leads me to believe they have acquired some stolen keys. This means in removing these guys from the game, we are hurting normal users as well.
