Es gibt mal wieder einen neuen UT 2003 Betapatch! Die grösste Neuheit ist bei diesem wohl der UTClassic Mutator. Alle Änderungen des Patches gibts unter show more. Und nochmal zur Erinnerung: BETA Versionen sind eher Testversionen. Zudem gewähren Epic und Infograms für BETA Patches auch keinen Support.

Heute erreichte uns die traurige Mitteilung vom AUS des vielversprechendenden Mods Genetic X. Corporal Hicks hat das ganze mit folgenden Worten begründet:

GX is cancelled officially. The reason for canceling the mod is that the team wasnt able to work as a team and that more than the half didnt work on Genetic X! We couldnt get them to work and so only a few guys were working. Although this was one of the biggest mods with one of the biggest teams, we arent and wont be able to continue or even finish it. Please mention this as the reason in the news posts and also mention that this time nothing can get us back to work...

 "Es dürfte nicht mehr lange dauern, bis die erste Beta-Version von Troopers verfügbar ist". Dies dürften wohl die wichtigsten Worte von Justin Wallace - der für Models und Textures bei Troopers zuständig ist - sein. Ausserdem kündigt er für die Zukunft neue Charaktere, Vehikel und Gamemodi an.
