I was thinking the other day...
I was 15 years old when they started working on Duke Nukem Forever. I am 22 years old now.
Since 3DRealms started development on Duke Nukem Forever, I have:
1) Gotten my drivers license
2) Graduated High School
3) Had sex for the first time
4) Went to college
5) Bought a car
6) Finished College
7) Gotten a job as a programmer
8 ) Watched ID Software release 5 games
9) Been through 3 Van Halen singers and 3 albums
10) watched my little sister graduate high school
11) watched my little sister go to college
12) watched my little sister graduate college
wow, long dev cycle. | vom Stapel gelassen und George Broussard hat reagiert:quote: We started over a couple of times and had some false starts. We had some technical issues early on that really kept us from progressing. It isn't as if we've worked on the same game all this time.
We've been on our current version since late 2002/early 2003 and things that we made then are still in the game and intended to ship.
Nobody knows how long it's been, better than us |
