text (short)

text (long)
According to G2, here's what's new. Especially for all those squad and team leaders out there, this patch is Christmas come early! First, we can expect to see a new command and control feature: reporting in. It seems to be a powerful new addition to assist troop leaders to track their troops in the field. Secondly, it appears that Army logistics is going to field some new equipment: binoculars. And we ain't talkin' lowest bidder, either! There are a few changes down the road as well. Our advanced marksmen are now issued boonie caps, making identification easier (and eliminating 'helmet hair'...); reduced volume during slow-crouch and slow-walk movements; honor update changed from 20 to 10 rounds; ability to pull pins from grenades right away; ability to move with iron sights up; and literally dozens of other features. Lots of goodies headed our way, gang. ETA is end of November. Carry on!
