UnrealEngine  Postal 2 Interview   maverick 27.10.2002
text (short)
Bei Action Vault gibts ein Interview mit Steve Wik einem Designer von Postal 2 (einem weiteren auf der UEngine basierenden Game).
quote:
Action Vault: As a start, what is your role on the Postal 2 team and how did you come to have it? What background do you have as a game designer? And how would you describe yourself as a gamer?

Steve Wik: My name is Steve Wik, I am part of the design triumvirate, half of the intrepid level design team and I also wrote the bulk of the insipid dialog for the game. I came to have this position by endless Machiavellian schemes, outright blackmail and climbing over the corpses of my dead friends. My background is that I've been designing games professionally since '92 (my first game was Tom & Jerry SNES). I would not describe myself as a gamer. You'll never get laid if you describe yourself as a gamer. I like all kinds of games, though I tend to prefer hands-on arcade action to fruity role-playing or mouse click/inventory arrangement festivals. MAME is the best thing ever made.
