Nach langem Schweigen hat der Chef des America's Army-Teams vor wenigen Tagen die Liste der Verbesserungen eines baldigen Patches veröffentlicht.
Diese Verbesserungen betreffen vor allem die Waffenbalance und sollen noch mehr Spaß in den kostenlosen Taktikshooter bringen..

Okay, we just sat down and went over all of your feedback on weapons. I will now share with you what we've added to our TO-DO list as a result of your comments. Keep in mind, these changes will not all be done at once, but will likely trickle in over time depending on difficulty and priority. If you made a comment and do not see it addressed, please do not assume that we ignored it. Everything was read and considered, but some things were left on the cutting room floor for various reasons, so-to-speak.

- Ability to switch to M203 by hitting SUPPORTED key (already implemented).

- Allow for rotational hop of weapon with the strafe keys while supported (i.e., allows you to hop it over a bit and resettle the weapon). There are some technical issues with this one, so we'll have to try it out and see how it goes.

- Allow supporting of weapons on objects. There are lots of technical implications, so it is likely there will be some limitations on this feature. Will also take some time to implement, so it's likely you'll see other tweaks done first.

- Bullet Penetration. Very difficult as the engine does not support it, but it's definitely on our list to get into the game.

- We will look into the burst groupings of the M16 to determine how realistic it is at the moment.

- Changing sniper rifles so that they always hit where cross-hair is aimed. Will adjust wavering of the weapon depending on posture.

- Although it will likely be some time, we will eventually look at an iron-sight aiming system for the M203 (but not until we get mortors and other similar type weapons into the game).

- Will check into realism of M24 and Mosin Nagant sounds.

- Adding client side options for removing weapon info from HUD (i.e., ammo count, reload/fixjam, etc.). This will be a user option, defaulted to ON.

- Will do Fact Check on firing time between bursts on M16, as well as bullet distribution between burst shots. If facts prove correct, we will make adjustments accordingly.

- Allow movement with iron sights up (will move very slowly).

- Changing text name on weapon selection to accurately portray which M4 is being offered.

- Will look into accuracy issues with Rifle Range.

- Allow switching firing modes without dropping iron sights.

- Will look into allowing movement while prone during reload/fixjam.

- Will adjust RPK so that ammo distribution more closely matches M249.
