VoodooExtreme.com hatte passend zu Halloween einen netten Artikel verfasst, der sich mit den schaurigsten PC-Spielen befasst, die es jemals gab. Neben Alone in the Dark, X-Com: UFO Defense, Resident Evil (mein erstes Horrorspiel), Half-Life (harmlos), Aliens vs. Predator, System Shock 2, Alice, Silent Hill 3 und dem kommenden Doom 3 (keine Frage, dass das gruselig wird) hat es auch Clive Barker's Undying (als einziges UnrealEngine-Spiel  ) geschafft in die Liste der Scariest PC Games Ever aufgenommen zu werden:quote:

The island manor itself is creepy as hell, but when you start hearing strange noises, seeing grisly scenes from past demonic rituals, and battling denizens of the house that have sold their soul for a little slice of power, you're in for one hell of a scary ride. This is one truly scary and quality game. |
