Mods  Infilitration wechselt die Engine!   Dreadnought 09.01.2005

Eine der ersten (beispielsweise die erste UT-Mod, die ich gespielt habe) bedeutendsten und beliebtesten Mods für das original UT wechselt nach über 5 Jahren die Engine... Infiltration kehrt der zugegebenermaßen alten UT-Engine den Rücken und wird fortan für die neue Source - Engine weiterentwickelt. Wozu diese Engine im Stande ist beweisen derzeit eindrucksvoll Half-Life 2 und Vampires: Bloodlines.
Dem Gameplay und Spielspass wird das sicher nicht schaden, ganz im Gegenteil, deshalb wünscht UX dem Team auch für die Zukunft viel Erfolg und Spass mit Infiltration.

After much discussion, Sentry Studios has decided upon the Half Life 2 engine for their next project. This conclusion was not reached easily, but after taking everything into consideration it was determined to be the best choice for our next project following the success of Infiltration for the Unreal engine. Half Life 2 offers many possibilities to develop a high quality game like none other, and we are excited about what the future holds.

Due to this transition, Sentry Studios will be in need of some new talent to fill the ranks. Once things get underway and it is clear on what positions will be required for the new project, we will post the specific openings.

We would like to thank the Unreal community for their continued support since development began in late 1998. During that time, there have been nearly 20 releases of Infiltration for Unreal and Unreal Tournament, all of which would not have been possible if it were not for the influence and support from many people. We cannot emphasize enough how much we appreciate everything that has been done for us, and needless to say, we will not forget it as we move from the Unreal franchise to Half Life 2.
