Mods  Red Orchestra 3.1 Infos   Doomh 22.10.2004

Die Arbeiten an einer neuen Version der WW2 - Mod gehen flott voran. So plant man für Version 3.1 neue Maps, Features und natürlich etliche Bugfixes. Höhepunkt dieser Version wird wohl das geplante Positional Sound Effects System sein. Dank diesem System könnt ihr von nun an hören, woher Schüsse kommen.

Ever see bullets landing all around you and feel like something is missing? Or that a shot just came out of nowhere and took you down? Well we have introduced a bullet ?whiz? system. When a bullet passes by the player within a certain proximity, they will hear a 3d positional ?whiz? of that round going past! The closer the round the louder the sound that the player will hear. The bullet hit sounds are also improved.

To go along with this new feature, the team has also greatly improved destructible environments for mappers with such things as windows, walls, and more destroyable by bullets, tank rounds, and satchels depending on the object.
