Allgemein  Strike Force Interview   lara 29.12.2002
text (short)
HomeLan Fed hatte die Gelegenheit Mike Hamlett vom Strike Force Mod Team einige Fragen zur geplanten UT 2003 Version ihrer Mod zu stellen. Einen kleinen Auszug aus diesem Interview gibt es auch hier unter SHOW MORE.

text (long)
quote:
HomeLAN - Why was the decision made to go back to the new Unreal Tournament 2003 game for the new version of Strike Force? Michael Hamlett - The Unreal Tournament 2003 engine is the best engine to work with on the game market at this time. Epic is providing more support for mod teams and we have over four years experience working with the technology. I've looked at just about every engine on the market and worked on possible scenarios for each one. In the end UT2003 was our final choice for the next version of Strike Force. HomeLAN - Will this game have any content (levels, weapons et al) transported from the UT version to UT 2003? Michael Hamlett - No, everything will be redone 100% from the ground up. We hired the best of the best in each area of development and we plan to make this the best it can be. Porting anything over would not be up to the commercial quality scale we are after.
