Mark Rein hat sich nun auch zu den erfreulichen Verkauszahlen von UT2003 geäussert:

... Earlier today I got an email from an Infogrames Vice President informing me that UT2003 has been "selling through 3 times faster (both here and in Europe) than the original UT". This is certainly ahead of our own expectations considering the hardware requirements compared to the original.
We're already hearing about some awesome UT2003 mods in the works which is especially exciting considering this game is such a big change from the original UT in terms of the content path. I think you're going to see some interesting and original mod content beyond the scope of what people did with the original. We're hard at work on our first free bonus pack for UT2003 and I think you'll be impressed by it.
