M. McCoy: From the very beginning of development of Rainbow Six 3, we knew we would be bringing the title to consoles after the PC release. This allowed us to design the PC version with consoles in mind. However, when we physically started the Xbox version we made a conscious decision to remake the game to be a true console title. This meant changing the reticule mechanics, AI, maps, storyline, and just about everything else. The reason behind this is that what plays well on PC doesn?t necessarily play well on consoles. |
