Wem die Demo zu Deus Ex: Invisible War zu konsolenartig ist (Hud auf 640x480 optimiert, schwammige Steuerung etc.), der kann die Demo mit dem DX2 Demo Tweaker (by Xander)von DeusExZone.info seinen Bedürfnissen anpassen.
Außerdem gibts die Möglichkeit mittels spezieller Einträge in der demotravel.log, sämtliche Waffen, Biomods und Tools der Vollversion bereits in der Demo zu testen! Der User Chronial hat dazu einen demotravel.log-Generator geproggt.

Die Demo zu Deus Ex: Invisible War ist mit einem Tag Verspätung nun doch noch auf FilePlanet.com verfügbar. Erfreulicherweise kann das 224MB große File jeder normale registrierte FilePlanet-User downloaden, d.h. der Download ist nicht kostenpflichtig.
Da FilePlanet der bisher einzige Mirror ist, kommt es zu entsprechend langen Wartezeiten beim Download.

Wir haben ja schon über einen eventuellen Release der Demo letzte Woche berichtet, doch nun ist es umso erfreulicher, dass sie tatsächlich kommt, die (englischsprachige) Demo zu Deus Ex: Invisible War! Morgen soll es laut PCAction.de soweit sein, aber vorerst nur für zahlende FilePlanet.com-User  . Am Freitag gibts die Demo dann auch auf anderen Sites zum Download und jeder mit einem entsprechend schnellen Internetzugang sollte in den Genuss der Demo kommen. Demnächst soll auch eine deutsche Demo folgen.
Zur Erinnerung: DX2 erscheint am 3. Dezember in den USA und erst im März vollständig lokalisiert hier in Deutschland.

Warren Spector ist gefragter denn je. In letzter Zeit muss er sich mit ziemlich vielen Leuten unterhalten. Warum? Sein neuester Streich, Deus Ex: Invisible War, steht ins Haus.
Deshalb gibts jetzt auch wieder ein neues Interview bei Krawall.de:quote:

Es gibt zwei neue Previews zu Deus Ex 2: Invisible War.
Den Anfang machen PC.IGN.com:quote:

There are secret areas, people to talk to who will give you hints and jobs, not to mention all sorts of filler material that fleshes the game atmosphere out. |

| Synchronstimmen in Deus Ex 2

Damit die Atmosphäre in Bezug auf den Sound in Deus Ex 2 nicht zu kurz kommt, hat Eidos hochkarätige deutsche Synchronsprecher engagiert. So wird man beispielsweise die Stimmen von Agent Smith und Trinity (bekannt aus Matrix), Julia Roberts, Kim Basinger, Nick Nolte, Brad Pitt und Kevin Spacey im Spiel wiederfinden.
Das wird mal wieder eine richtig gute Lokalisation mit sich bringen (die man sie sich für viele andere Spiele auch mal wünschen würde).

Wie PCAction.de berichtet, ist mit hoher Wahrscheinlichkeit noch diese Woche mit einer Demo des hoffentlich bald erscheinenden RPG-Shooter-Mix Deus Ex 2 zu rechnen.
Worauf sich dabei die PCA beruft, ist mir nicht bekannt, allerdings wird das Ganze durch ein Update auf Computer&VideoGames schon wieder entkräftet, denn dort liest man von einer Demo, die Anfang Dezember erwartet wird:quote:
Although Eidos has confirmed with us that an Xbox and PC demo of Deus Ex: II will be out in December, an exact date has yet to be confirmed. The seventh or eight of the month was suggested, but it appears that nothing is yet written in stone. Demo content is being kept a closely guarded secret as well |

Zur Zeit gehts ziemlich rund in Sachen Deus Ex 2: Invisible War. Heute gibts schon wieder gute Neuigkeiten. Ganze 6 neue Videos mit Spielszenen gibts bei GamersHell zum Download. Insgesamt kommen so 72Megabyte zusammen.

Computer&VideoGames führten kürzlich mit Warren Spector von Ion Storm ein Interview zu Deus Ex 2.
Desweiteren bestätigte Spector, dass sich bereits der dritte Teil zu Deus Ex in der Planung befindet!

Wer sich schon immer gefragt hat, ob man seinen PC für Deus Ex 2: Invisible War aufrüsten muss, dem sei jetzt geholfen. EBGames.com hat einen Screenshot der Verpackung des Spiels online gestellt, auf welchem auch gut die Mindestkonfiguration und empfohlene Konfiguration zu erkennen ist.
