America's Army  Americas Army Patch Interview   lara 10.10.2002
text (short)

text (long)
quote:
HomeLAN - How did the team decide on what to offer for the game's first patch?

Alex Mayberry - Being that this project is ongoing, the development team has always tried to focus on the basics first, and take things one step at a time. We all have some pretty ambitious and lofty ideas on where we'd like to see the game go, but we recognize the fact that we need to first start with a solid foundation. It is along these lines that we've based our decisions, and have tried to implement those features that would move the game along in the most expedient manner, while still maintaining and building upon what we've already done so far. Obviously, due to the nature of this project the road ahead is pretty wide open for us, but we will continue to move forward in a logical manner.
