America's Army  Statement zu Cheatern   MenschMaschine76 29.01.2003
text (short)
Abraxas hat eben ein deutliches Statement über den künftigen Umgang mit Cheatern abgegeben:

Original von Abraxas, ofizielles Forum, 27.01.2003
quote:
Honor. Integrity. Teamwork. Those are just three of the values that guide every U.S. Soldier.

As a part of this values laden organization, Soldiers enjoy a very high public trust. Soldiers are expected to embody the highest standards of integrity to earn this public trust and the trust of other Soldiers that is vital to success in military operations.

This same adherence to values results in success for America's Army game players as well. Just as cheating ruins organizations, it also ruins games such as America's Army.

text (long)
quote:
The Army wants all of its virtual Soldiers to have the best online experience possible and to ensure this we've taken a few steps to make sure that cheaters cannot ruin your gameplay.

Effective immediately, cheating in America's Army will result in an immediate reduction in Honor points so that players found to be cheating will only be able to play on retraining servers until they are able to work their Honor level above 10 points. Cheating players lose their training certification and will need to go back through Basic Training, Airborne and other schools where they will relearn the original values and keys for success that were taught. Repeated cheaters will find themselves permanently banned from the game.

Those individuals who feel they have been wrongly accused can appeal the charge by banned@americasarmy.com . DO NOT appeal your banishment on the public forums.

Auf die Frage, auf welche Weise Cheater identifiziert werden:

Original von Abraxas, ofizielles Forum, 27.01.2003
quote:
We will not be saying what methods we will or will not use to identify those who are cheating. As the message indicates, we are taking steps to combat the situation.
